Osteoporosis Screening

Procedure Description:
An x-ray of the forearm to help determine the risk of developing osteoporosis.

What To Expect:
This procedure is fairly simple and is pain-free. It is a radiological procedure requiring approximately 5 to 10 minutes of your time. You will be sitting down during the whole procedure.

In case this test is abnormal, there are different alternative for treatment. Your physician will be more than happy to discuss it with you in your next visit.
